Digitization and cataloging of these oral histories is made possible with funding from the National Parks Service through a Tribal Heritage Preservation Project completed in July 2013. The recordings discuss Alutiiq culture, the Kodiak Archipelago, the old village of Afognak, legends, and other topics through traditional storytelling.

These digital recordings are accessible for purposes of education and research. Due to the nature of archival collections, we are not always able to identify all information pertaining to each item. We are eager to hear if any information is inaccurate or incomplete.
